Ideas That Evoke – Andis Company

I worked with Andis Company during my internship with Ideas That Evoke when my supervisors needed extra help on social media outreach. I would spend a couple of hours every day monitoring Andis-related hashtags on Iconosquare, liking and commenting where appropriate, favoriting Andis-related hashtags on Twitter, and pinning various pins on the Pinterest account. I was also a part of the #AndisInAction campaign.

Ideas That Evoke – Steve’s University

Steve’s UNIV was my main client when I worked at Ideas That Evoke. My duties included creating and scheduling Facebook content, managing their Facebook page,  pulling data and analytics from Facebook and Twitter, photographing their products and working with the owner. My supervisor and I held a couple of campaigns during my internship, which included the 12 Days of Giving Campaign and Beer Blur contests.

Panhellenic Council at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater

During my time at UW-Whitewater, I was elected Public Relations chair on the Panhellenic Council. I created the Facebook page and blog from scratch. I also managed, created content for, photographed or created images on Photoshop or PicMonkey, and updated everything on the blog and Facebook page while I was Public Relations chair.

Career & Leadership Development at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater

My duties at Career & Leadership Development ranged all over the board – from photographing and interviewing students and companies at career fairs, to engaging students at monthly tables on campus, from managing, writing and editing 1-2 blog posts per week, to managing and creating content for our Facebook and Twitter pages. My coworker and I participated in many outreach events, diversity events with other departments on campus, and created a Cover Model Campaign in the spring of 2013.

Because waitressing at the Edge of Town Cafe, interning with College Lifestyles and Ideas That Evoke, and going to school part-time wasn’t enough for me in 2014, I decided to take over (and make over) the Edge’s Facebook page as a side project.
